Christopher Eccleston's Doctor has his English Rose. Billie Piper has been cast as the 19 year old Rose Tyler in the upcoming Doctor Who series. The Starz!/Encore suite of premium channels http://www.starz.com in the US have acquired rights to the 1996 Doctor Who movie starting in June. Subscribers to the suite of Starz & Encore movie channels will have many chances to see the movie uncut and commercial free. Looking at the June schedule, the Mystery Channel will be the primary home of the TV Movie for now. I'd expect it could pop up on any channel in the suite where it doesn't violate the format. |

Meanwhile, Showtime Greats in Australia has added a note to the info on the May 24th airing of Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150A.D. indicating that it was the final appearance of the movie on their channel. The movie had aired a number of times on the network since last year, back when it was Encore Australia. |
