Synopsis One
With the TARDIS seemingly lost, Rose and the remaining humans are trapped on the base with the murderous, possessed Ood while the planet floats helplessly towards the black hole.

The Doctor, accompanied by Science Officer Ida Scott (Claire Rushbrook), finds his every belief being challenged to the core as the Pit beckons and he is about to discover exactly what "Beast" is trapped in the heart of the impossible planet. Can he make the ultimate sacrifice and save the entire universe from the Beast?
