WHRO 15 Norfolk, VA http://www.whro.org is bringing Classic Who to Southeastern Virginia for the first time in many years. 1 25 minute Tom Baker episode per week - Saturdays at approximately 11:30PM and 4:30AM starting tonight, the second half of a block with Blackadder. As far as we know, WHRO has not picked up the new Doctor Who yet. |

Iowa Public TV http://www.iptv.org starts Series 2 tonight at 11:05PM CDT. Idaho Public TV http://www.idahoptv.org starts Series 2 tonight at 11PM MDT/10PM PDT. West Virginia Public Broadcasting http://www.wvpubcast.org will premiere The Christmas Invasion this Friday at 10PM EDT, but then take Doctor Who off the air for a bit to run a season of documentary series Independent Lens. Ozark Public TV http://www.optv.org starts Series 2 on April 12. |

WTTW 11 Chicago, IL http://www.wttw.com will air all of Series 1 in an all night marathon. Saturday 12 April 8PM to 6AM CDT. All-night Doctor Who party. Series 2 begins with The Christmas Invasion on Saturday 19 April at 10PM, with repeats Sundays at 6PM and late Fridays at 3:30AM. |
If Series 3 of Doctor Who becomes available to public TV stations, it will be some time after the episodes have aired on BBC America. BBC America airs Series 3 from January 26 to April 19 2008. |

4 Public TV stations currently have rights to air the classic Doctor Who run (1963-1989). Iowa Public TV is currently airing both Series 1 and Peter Davison episodes. Maryland Public TV is airing Series 1 while resting classic Who. KBTC 28 Tacoma, WA and WCET 48 Cincinnati, OH are airing Tom Baker episodes while resting Series 1. |

Three stations have, to the best of our knowledge, used all their rights to the Series 1 package - WLVT 39 Allentown, PA, Iowa Public TV, and Idaho Public TV. If they air Series 1 again, then that means they re-bought the package. WILL 12 Urbana, IL and OETA Oklahoma are currently on their 4th and presumably final cycle of Series 1. WMFE 24 Orlando, FL did not renew Doctor Who for a second series and is not expected to return it to their schedule. If any other stations have made similar determinations, they have yet to let us know. |
