US SciFi http://www.scifi.com begins its run of Doctor Who Series 2 this Friday at 8PM and 10:30PM EDT with a 2 ½ hour premiere (The Christmas Invasion and New Earth). Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica are the 2 new shows on SciFi Friday this fall - here's hoping for large audiences. The last 8 episodes of Series 1 (Dalek through The Parting of the Ways) will air earlier that day from 8AM to 4PM EDT in the Daytime rotation. New episodes will only air on Fridays this time around - no Sunday repeats. BBC America will begin a run of Series 1 on BBC America 20640Tuesday November 21 at 10PM EST. |

UK's BBC Three http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree and UKTV Gold are doing repeat runs of the new Doctor Who. BBC Three airs Series 2 weeknights at 7PM BST. UKTV Gold repeats Series 1 weeknights at 6PM & 2AM. UKTV Gold + 1 airs the UKTV Gold schedule 1 hour later, so if you want to see the episodes on both UKTV Gold and BBC Three, catch the early evening showing on the main Gold instead of + 1. At the moment the repeat run on UKTV Gold ends on Friday 29 September, with BBC Three continuing into October. |

Maryland Public TV http://www.mpt.org confounded VCRs and DVRs once again last weekend. The entire Saturday lineup ran early, with The Sontaran Experiment starting at 11:54PM. After The Sontaran Experiment, there was an unannounced airing of episode 1 of Genesis of the Daleks. The website currently has this Saturday's episodes (Revenge of the Cybermen) and next Saturday's (Terror of the Zygons) scheduled to start at 11:59PM. If you are taping or DVRing, set extra time before and after the program. DirecTivo currently has Revenge of the Cybermen set to tape from Midnight to 1:30AM, which should cut off both the beginning and the end of the story. If they decide to throw in more of Genesis of the Daleks - all bets are off. |
Series 2 Doctor Who episodes have been spotted on various Canadian airlines, including Air Canada. Air Canada was showing New Earth on September 4, prior to the English language TV debut of the episode in North America. |
