BBC Prime's http://www.bbcprime.com latest update to their FAQ about Doctor Who takes a more negative view on whether they will buy the show in the future, compared to previous versions of the FAQ. There are 2 versions of BBC Prime - one for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and a similar one with a different schedule for Asia. "Sadly there are no current plans to show either old or the new series but we hope to at some point so please keep checking the listings from time to time." |

US SciFi http://www.scifi.com has preliminary October information up on its website when you search for shows. Doctor Who's regular Series 2 timeslot will be 8PM & 11PM Eastern Time Fridays as of October 6. If you live in the Pacific Time zone, that's 8PM and 11PM on most Cable systems - 5PM & 8PM on DirecTV and Dish Network. No Sunday repeats have been scheduled for Series 2 at this time - it appears you have 2 chances to see the episode Friday, and then you have to wait for the Series to finish for more repeat chances. UK's BBC Three http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree is doing a repeat run of Doctor Who weeknights at 7PM BST. It will go back to Rose and the Eccleston episodes beginning Wednesday 6 September. UKTV Gold will begin a repeat run of the Eccleston episodes with commercials included starting Monday 18 September at 6PM BST (with repeats around 2AM most weeknights). The UKTV Gold run is tentatively set to skip Rose and The Unquiet Dead. The time-shifted UKTV Gold + 1 will be airing Doctor Who with commercials at the same time that BBC Three is airing Doctor Who without commercials. |

Maryland Public TV http://www.mpt.org aired Robot in episodic format this past weekend instead of the advertised movie format. If you set your timer for the advertised time or let your Tivo handle it, it cut out before the climax. Allow extra time on MPT in case stories are shown in episodic version. Definitely set extra time this week and next anyway because Who will be airing at the end of a pledge night. |
