Friday 20th August 1999:
WCET 48 Cincinnati, OH

Sat 11:30PM EDT Planet of the Daleks eps 1 + 2 of 6 (5 episode version)
WCET must have been given the version without episode 3, because it is listed as being 5 episodes long. The Time Lords send the Doctor and Jo to Spirodon, a jungle planet where the Daleks have set up operations. Why would the Daleks want a miserable, killer jungle like that whose only positive aspect is an absence of stairs? That's the real cliffhanger in episode 1, not the fact that Daleks are there.
