Press Release:
Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) storms back into the Doctor's (David Tennant) life throwing the Tardis out of control and sending it to the end of the universe. Landing in the year 100 trillion on the planet of Malcassairo, the Doctor and Martha (Freema Agyeman) find Jack. He appears to have died while the Tardis hurtled through the vortex. However he is soon revived and the Doctor and his companions find a dead city and encounter the Futurekind, cannibalistic humanoids who are hunting a human.
The human is trying to reach a transport to "Utopia", the last home of the human race. At the transport site, the Tardis crew meet the elderly Professor Yana (Derek Jacobi) and his insectoid assistant Chantho (Chipo Chung). The professor is desperate for help as his spacecraft is unable to take off due to problems with the experimental drive system and the infiltration of a Futurekinder.
While Jack and the Doctor attempt to solve the problem the professor shows Martha his broken fob watch he has had since he was found as an orphaned child. It is identical in design to the watch belonging to the Doctor. Martha rushes to tell the Doctor who realises that Yana is an acronym of "You Are Not Alone", the Face of Boe's final words.
