Several years in the future (the 1990s), an archaeological dig is interrupted by U*N*I*T, nuclear weapons, soldiers from another dimension, a funny little man known as The Doctor, and a retiree formerly known as Brigadier Alaistair Gordon Lethbridge- Stewart. All these old forces, thought to be obsolete, are dangerously more powerful than anyone thought. Nuclear war may be the price to pay for letting them meet. Guest starring Jean Marsh.
