The Doctor makes a return visit to Peladon some years after his previous visit. There he discovers that several miners have died and the ghost of Aggedor is to blame.

Broadcast notes:

Owing to a mistake broadcasting episodes 1-3 earlier in the year, both this and the second block of episodes were shown on this date to enable the "missing" The Time Warrior to be shown the following weekend.

Intro: Tonight, The Doctor returns to Peladon after an absence of fifty years and finds to his consternation that the monster of Aggedor is again spreading terror and death. We have no doubt as to The Doctor's ability to put things right, but be forewarned: it will take quite a while.
