Section B - The US Public TV stations:

KCPT 19 Kansas City, MO has scheduled their Doctor Who premiere for
Saturday 28 June 10PM CDT. Unclear if they will start with The
Christmas Invasion or New Earth.

Alaska One's schedule has changed (again). Series 2 is airing after
all. It was originally scheduled to start in June, then changed in
the listings to a repeat of Series 1, and now says Series 2 again.
Either way, The Christmas Invasion was skipped.

KVCR 24 San Bernadino (Los Angeles' market) http://www.kvcr.org has a premiere date for Doctor Who Series 2. Sunday 22 June 9PM PDT - New Earth. This is KVCR's first showing of new Doctor Who. It is not known if KLCS and KOCE (the LA stations that aired Series 1) have bought Series 2.

Series 1 is currently available to public TV stations in a package
until February 28, 2009. Series 2 is currently available to public TV
stations in a package until March 31, 2010. At this time, stations do
not have access to Series 3 and 4.

5 Public TV stations currently have rights to air the classic Doctor Who run (1963-1989). Iowa Public TV is currently airing both Series 2 and Peter Davison episodes. Maryland Public TV is airing Series 1 while resting classic Who. KBTC 28 Tacoma, WA and WCET 48 Cincinnati, OH are airing Tom Baker episodes while resting Series 1. WHRO 15 Norfolk, VA is airing Tom Baker episodes but apparently does not have New Who Series rights.

Four stations have used all their rights to the Series 1 package - WLVT 39 Allentown, PA, WILL 12 Urbana, IL, Iowa Public TV, and Idaho Public TV. If they air Series 1 again, then they re-bought the package. OETA Oklahoma has used half of their 4th and final cycle of Series 1. WMFE 24 Orlando, FL did not renew Doctor Who and is not expected to air it again. If any other stations have made similar determinations, they have yet to let us know.
