The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara (Jenna Coleman) are back and we’re ecstatic to see them on our screens here in New Zealand lickity split within hours of the original UK transmission! When we last saw the time-travelling Time Lord and his companion they’d just spent a terrifying Christmas with Santa Claus himself up in the North Pole…or was it all just a crazy dream? In this brand new season premiere, ‘The Magician’s Apprentice’, Missy (Michelle Gomez) is back to cause trouble, although the tables are soon turned when Doctor and Clara need her help to save the day. What has the world come to?! Expect chaos, magic, some friendly familiar faces and some dastardly foes as the TARDIS roars (groans? shudders? thuuumps?) back to life for further adventures in time and space.
