Note the special start time on Sunday morning. 7:30 - not 7:00. The 5th Doctor, Tegan, and Turlough arrive on Earth in 1985, which has an unusual link to deep space in the distant future, where a medical prison is fighting a losing battle to protect their prisoner - Davros - from the beings who could liberate or kill him - The Daleks.
