Romana suggests that the 4th Doctor take the TARDIS to Argolis for a vacation. Seems the Argolins developed a new kind of science after a devastating war that left them impotent. The war lasted 20 minutes. I'd guess that the first 19 minutes were pretty bland compared to the 20th.
