Notes

The Five Faces Of Doctor Who (Credit: BBC)"The Five Faces Of Doctor Who" was a repeat season shown on BBC2 in the Autumn of 1981 in preparation for the forthcoming new series with a new Doctor.

Stories chosen were all four-parters to fit the Monday-Thursday schedule. It kicked off with the original adventure for the first Doctor, An Unearthly Child, and was then followed by the (then only remaining four part serial) The Krotons for the second Doctor. The third Doctor was represented by Carnival Of Monsters, and then the chronologically previous story The Three Doctors featuring all three originals William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee. Finally, the most recent story Logopolis was broadcast as it featured both the fourth and most recent Doctor, as played by Tom Baker and introducing the fresh-faced fifth Doctor, to be played by Peter Davison.
