Report from the This Week in Doctor Who Archive:
Friday 9th June 2000:
WYIN 56 Gary, IN (Chicago, IL)
http://www.wyin.org/
Sat 8-10PM CDT The Deadly Assassin all 4 eps
It's pledge season at WYIN (Doctor Who didn't air last week). So, WYIN is repeating a story that it bungled the first time it tried to show. The only story without the Doctor having an official "companion".
Sat 10PM CDT Doctor Who's Who's Who 1 hour documentary from 1985
Another program that WYIN had trouble with the 1st (and 2nd) time they tried to show it. As the series faces cancellation in England, it has become wildly popular in America. New Jersey Network commissioned this special to explore the phenomena that is Doctor Who. Guest starring Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, John Nathan-Turner, Matthew Waterhouse, Louise Jameson, George Takei, Issac Asimov, and some other people.
