The TARDIS crew are trapped in E-Space but have now found themselves at the gateway between the universes. Tied to a chair and being used as a time sensitive to guide a ship through time and space, Romana finally meets an escaped Tharil slave... but are they as friendly as they seem? One of the most complex and visually stunning stories concludes with a tearful farewell to Romana and K9.
