ABC2 is going back to when the Time Lord entered a new age with the first series of Doctor Who screening weeknights from Monday, March 30th.

During each episode there's a new adventure for The Doctor and Rose. They can go anywhere at any time! Back to 1890 to meet Charles Dickens; forward to the year 5,000,000,000 to see the end of the world; back again for adventures with crash-landed aliens in World War II...

During episode one, Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) meets a mysterious stranger called The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), and realises that Earth is in danger.
