Sun 7AM, Late Sun 1AM AEST The Ark all 4 eps (The Steel Sky, The Plague, The Return, The Bomb)
The 1st Doctor travels to a point in the future later than any examined in the series since. Earth is facing imminent destruction, and one ship is taking humanity to its new home. Only humanity could be foolish enough after millions of years of experience to trust the safety of its entire species to just one ship. To be fair, though, they never expected to face the terror that is Dodo Chaplet.
Mon-Thu 11:30PM AEST The War Machines eps 1 - 4 of 4
Final available 1st Doctor story. The Doctor and Dodo get back to 1966 London, where the Post Office Tower has been completed. In that tower, a pre-eminent scientist has developed the world's most powerful computer, capable of linking with all the computers on Earth to form a World Wide Web of shared information. Of course, this is science fiction. Who could ever believe in a network of computers sharing information across the entire planet?
Fri 11:30PM AEST The Tomb of the Cybermen ep 1 of 4
Rediscovered in Hong Kong in late 1991. The 2nd Doctor, Jamie, and Victoria stumble across an expedition to the planet Telos, where the Cybermen went to die.
