The identity of the dead man who's been manipulating Gallifrey is revealed, as are that man's plans for revenge. Peter Pratt played the decaying figure, who looks remarkably like Darth Maul in the new Star Wars film. Later, the Doctor and his jelly babies land on a jungle planet where he is known as The Evil One (TM).

WYBE 35 got its tapes mixed up again last week. At 11PM last Saturday, they aired an episode of The Masque of Mandragora instead of episode 4 of The Deadly Assassin. No announcement had been made at publication time regarding when the conclusion of "Deadly" will air.
