The 2nd Doctor and Jamie are apparently murdered while on a mission for the Time Lords. When the 6th Doctor and Peri investigate, they uncover a conspiracy involving Sontarans, Androgums, and time travel. This broadcast runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes, not 2 hours and 5 minutes as every single PBS station that has ever run the movie version has erroneously claimed.
