Report from the This Week in Doctor Who Archive:
Friday 12th October 2001:
PPTV North Dakota 2,3,4,6,9,13,19 http://www.pptv.org/
Fri 10:30PM CDT (9:30PM MDT) The Horns of Nimon ep 1 of 4
A classic episode. A great conversation between the Doctor and Romana about 6 minutes in. And the person who made the "bleepity bleep" edited version which you'll be seeing chopped it out! And then the person in charge of tossing out duplicate tapes threw out the originals, leaving just the movie version (with the scene) and the episode version (without). The episode is still good without it, but ... ugh. Definitely a case where fans will benefit when we can get enough stations to air the show again for the syndicator to have fresh prints struck.
