In "Seeds", the 4th Doctor returns to England, having disposed of the first deadly seed. However, the second one has made it to England ahead of him, and the Doctor must track it down before the new owner can germinate it. Then, flash back to the 3rd Doctor's era. The Silurians engage in a sneak attack to make sure the Doctor can not find a cure to the disease wiping out humanity.
