Restored 3rd Doctor episodes in Iowa. The Silurians concludes with Liz Shaw trying to rediscover the cure to the virus. The Silurians made a mess of the lab and kidnapped the Doctor. Very unwise, especially in the final episode of the story. Then, flash forward to Planet of the Daleks. The 3rd Doctor, barely alive after a confrontation with the Master, pursues the Daleks to the planet where they are massing an invasion force.
