Aided by his two assistants Jamie and Victoria, the Doctor lands the TARDIS on Telos, last resting place of the infamous Cybermen. There he discovers a band of archaelogists on a secret expedition to unearth the reason for his old enemies' extinction. In the underground shadowy depths, they find the icy tomb. A whole army in hibernation. A threat to no one, if the temperature remains low. But if the traitor in their midst gets his way, things could really heat up.

To coincide with a series of classic Who running in chronological order from the beginning of the Jon Pertwee era, we are screening select stories from William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton's era. This will be selected and shown randomly. Sadly with so many episodes and stories missing from these eras it's hard to follow any narrative storylines in this period, with key episodes missing from stories like The Dalek Masterplan. Or where certain stories have been recreated through animation, it's hard to license these stories. We hope you'll however appreciate a mix of classic stories from this period.
