Consolidated figures: 5.911m viewers (+7 days), 37.7% audience share, 7th place - BARB Week (Four Screen inc pre-transmission), AI 76
Doctor Who was 6th for the day on overnights in a BBC dominated top ten for Christmas Day. The top spot was taken by the finale to Gavin and Stacey with 12.32m, followed by Wallace and Gromit's new adventure with 9.38m. The King's Speech got a shade over 6m (multi channel consolidation), and 4th and 5th spots went to Call the Midwife and the second part of Eastenders with 4.43m and 4.39m respectively.
The highest rated ITV1 programme was Coronation Street with 2.5m.
