DRAMA After trips back in time to the American South and the Partition of India, the week Jodie Whittaker's Tardis team visit some UK history - specifically 17th-century Lancashire, where they find themselves embroiled in a witch trial run by a local landowner. To make things worse, the famously witch-fearing King James I (played by The Good Wife's Alan Cumming) also turns up to witness proceedings, putting more pressure on the Doctor to protect the vulnerable as the hysteria increases. But could something even more sinister than dark magic be at work in the land? And if so, what really threatens the village of Bilehurst Cragg? Credit: Radio Times, p62
