Another chance to hear Saturday evening's Prom celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, featuring music composed by Murray Gold for the series over the last eight years, works by Bizet, Debussy and Bach used in various episodes, and a guest appearance by the 11th Doctor Matt Smith. the concert also pays tribute to the early days of the sci-fi programme and the ground-breaking work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Presented by Louise Fryer from the Royal Albert Hall. London Philharmonic Choir, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conductor Ben Foster. Plus highlights from last year's Cheltenham Festival.
