After nearly two decades, DOCTOR WHO returns to television with new episodes and a new star. Christopher Eccleston portrays the Time Lord. His soulmate is Rose (Billie Piper), a shop-girl from the present day. In the second episode, the Doctor takes Rose on her first voyage through time to the year five billion.
