London - November 1963. Mysteriously bright and sunny. A junkyard where two schoolteachers disappeared from has been taken over by an alien life form. The military is investigating, and about to wind up on the worst possible side of a civil war - right in the middle. Only one man can save the day - Bernard Quatermass. Since he's not available, the 7th Doctor will have to intervene.
