THE THREE DOCTORS
The universe is being drained of power. in desperation the Time Lords send the third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) his previous selves (Patrick Troughton and William Hartnell) to solve the crisis.
The colour four-parter was made in 1973 to mark the programme's tenth anniversary. It was the fiest time three Doctors had appeared in one story. William Hartnell was ill when the story was made and only makes a limited appearance, on a TARDIS monitor.
