London police blotter, 19th Century. 2:45AM. "The mysterious disappearances of young ladies continues. Some mad nut (Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor) thinks that the Chinese are involved. Some Chinese attacked him. He's 'appropriated' Professor Litefoot to investigate his theories. Could be worse, I suppose. He could have claimed it was an alien from the future."
