The Algemene Vereniging Radio Omroep (AVRO) was a public broadcaster in the Netherlands that launched as a radio service in 1923. In 2014 it merged with TROS to become AVROTROS.
The only broadcast of Doctor Who on the channel was The TV Movie in 1999.
