WXEL is a PBS member station based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Its last broadcast of Doctor Who was during 1998, plus a showing of Terror of the Autons  and The Dæmons as part of a pledge drive in November 1998, the disappointing response of which led to the series permanently dropped.
