Reminder - the Children In Need Doctor Who sketch on 18 November is expected to air in the 9PM half hour GMT/10PM CET (the schedule is fluid). In addition to the BBC One and BBC Prime broadcasts, it will also air on BFBS 1 and BFBS Navy, reaching British military worldwide. The scene is being kept a closely guarded secret, and
will be fairly short.

As noted in previous weeks, Children In Need airs live on BBC One, BBC Prime*, and 2 BFBS stations (BFBS 1 and BFBS Navy) to serve British military personnel.

BBC America http://www.bbcamerica.com and BBC Canada http://www.bbccanada.ca will not air the Children In Need special. If you don't have BBC One, the main version of BBC Prime, or the BFBS service, you will not be able to watch Children In Need and the Doctor Who sketch.

Broadcast times for Doctor Who - The Christmas Invasion in the UK
and Canada have been confirmed. BBC One airs The Christmas Invasion
on Christmas Day (25 December) at 7PM. Early schedules indicated it
might start at 6:15PM or 7:15PM - those times were probably correct
at the time they were published - the schedule wasn't finalized
then. It is believed that The Christmas Invasion will not be airing
at the same time as Coronation Street on ITV, but that was still
unclear at publication time. In Canada, The Christmas Invasion will
air on Boxing Day (26 December) in a 90 minute slot from 8 to 9:30PM
in all time zones as previously expected (8:30PM Newfoundland). At
this time it looks like these will be the only broadcasters to get
The Christmas Invasion this Christmas. No doubt the BFBS service
will offer The Christmas Invasion to British soldiers soon
afterwards.

forces serving overseas on Christmas Day and 26 December.

BFBS 1 airs The Christmas Invasion Christmas Day at 8:10PM Central
European Time (adjust for local time), just 10 minutes after it
premieres on BBC One.

BFBS 2 airs The Christmas Invasion on 26 December at 8PM Central
European Time (again, adjust for local time).

BFBS Navy will probably air the episode, but they do not have
listings for that week up yet. If they air it I'll have the
information in time for the December 21 edition of This Week In
Doctor Who.
