UK - BBCi's Doctor Who page http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ reports that Home Choice http://www.homechoice.co.uk/ , a Video On Demand service in the UK, has picked up the rights to air some Tom Baker Doctor Who stories on their system. The "first 10 episodes" will be available on their system from Thursday, 4 April. As of press time, it is unclear if that refers to the first 10 Tom Baker stories (Robot, The Ark In Space, The Sontaran Experiment, Genesis of the Daleks, Revenge of the Cybermen, Terror of the Zygons, Planet of Evil, The Pyramids Of Mars, The Android Invasion, The Brain of Morbius), or litterally the first 10 episodes (Robot through Sontaran Experiment). For purposes of TWIDW, I will assume they are just offering the first 10 episodes, and not the 10 stories, until they update their website and let people know. |
