If you are in Canada waiting for the premiere of the Doctor Who Christmas episode The Next Doctor - the SPACE channel premiered it LAST weekend. The episode remains on SPACE's website http://www.spacecast.com for at least a little longer. We do not have a premiere date for The Next Doctor in other countries yet (it previously aired in the UK and Australia). |
ABC Australia - ABC1's Tuesday night repeats of the 2nd Series of new Who have been pulled. The remaining 6 episodes (The Impossible Planet through Doomsday) will air on ABC2 later this year. ABC2 aired the repeats for the 1st Series of New Who last year and will be ABC's home for Torchwood. |

Planet Of The Dead - we do not have an airdate yet. We expect it will air at Easter. The BBC's Press Release that includes Easter Weekend will be out this Thursday the 26th, but I would not be surprised if they kept the broadcast time up in the air a bit longer to make it harder for ITV to counter-program. The other 3 Doctor Who specials will air in late 2009/early 2010. |
