Torchwood - Lost Souls - will premiere on BBC Radio 4
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4 on 10 September at 2:15PM BST (9:15AM
EDT, 6:15AM PDT) as part of their daylong coverage of the Big Bang
tests at CERN. Lost Souls is a 45 minute Torchwood episode starring
the cast following the events of the Series 2 finale Exit Wounds.
If you have not seen Exit Wounds, there will be spoilers. "Lost
Souls" is tied into CERN's efforts to recreate the aftershocks
following the Big Bang. The episode will remain available for
listeners around the world at the Radio 4 website for one week and
have a CD release.

Canada - SPACE http://www.spacecast.com will give Torchwood Series 2 a two hour premiere on Friday 8 August at 9PM EDT (6PM PDT, 10:30PM Newfoundland). The regular timeslot will be Fridays at 10PM EDT (7PM PDT, 11:30PM Newfoundland). SPACE does not have the English language standard definition rights to Series 1 - they are still held by CBC TV.

Australia - The South has been told by Channel Ten http://www.ten.com.au that a story in the Australian press about their plans for Series 2 is incorrect. Channel Ten told the fan group that Torchwood Series 2 will air exclusively on their HD channel. The press report indicated that Channel Ten had announced that they WILL air Series 2 of Torchwood on the main channel ... eventually. USA - BBC America http://www.bbcamerica.com has purchased Series 3 (5 episodes long) of Torchwood to air in 2009 after the UK broadcast. This time the rights include HD broadcasts, so HD Net US is unable to purchase this series. It is not known if HD Net Canada would have similar trouble airing the show - BBC America's rights would not automatically cause trouble.

Does anybody know the status of the channel Jimmy in Italy? There are
some reports that the channel may be ceasing to exist in September,
which would be before they finish the current premiere run of
Torchwood (Series 2) and Doctor Who (Series 3). Is the channel going
away? If so, where are the programmes going?

Croatia - HRT2 http://www.hrt.hr is airing Torchwood Saturdays 11PM EET. Should be the third episode tonight. Cannot get proper schedule information from HRT2 on the HRT website.
