TWIDW Update: CBC To Present 6 Part Doctor Who Documentary Online

The CBC has updated their Doctor Who website to create an
interactive version closer to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho
style. It has blurbs about the new Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)
and Rose (Billie Piper). It has a quick description of this week's
episode (Rose). It also has a link to news from the Doctor Who
Information Network http://www.dwin.org , the great Canadian based
fan organization. The CBC is partnering with Volvo for a competition
to send a fan and friend to the set of the series. And some
wallpaper downloads.

Biggest development on the site is the preview section for "The
Planet Of The Doctor". This will be a 6 part serial documentary
running exclusively on CBC.ca. There's a funny retro trailer
mentioning many of the people who will appear in the documentary.
Part one premieres in early April - date not revealed. Looks like
fun.
