Welcome to the weekly guide to known Doctor Who broadcasts worldwide.

BBC Kids http://www.bbckids.ca announced this week that they had picked up the rights to air the Peter Davison stories, which I believe is the first time Davison's Who adventures have aired on Canadian TV since YTV's run of the show. The Davison episodes will join the weekday schedule on Monday 16 February and the weekend rotation on Saturday 21 February. BBC Kids will continue airing 2 episodes weekdays at 1AM EST with a 3:30AM EST repeat. Complete stories will air Saturdays and Sundays at the same times.

BBC Kids' press release notes that at this time Earthshock, The Five Doctors, and Resurrection of the Daleks cannot be purchased for broadcast, so they won't be part of the rotation for now. The Five Doctors and Resurrection of the Daleks are presumably unavailable due to the Terry Nation estate/Dalek issue. Dunno what Earthshock is doing on the list.

Encore Australia is airing Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150A.D. on
Saturday 17 January at 5:20AM and Thursday 29 January at 6:45AM AEDT.

The South American Sci-Fi Channel (actually South Africa) is airing SF: UK - Trips Through Time And Space late Monday 16 February at 12:45AM. Matthew De Abaitua takes a look at 60s Doctor Who, the age of psychedelic sci-fi.
