Waveguide TV and Radio News http://www.waveguide.co.uk has as its top headline a press release revealing the premiere date for episode 1 of The Scream Of The Shalka - Thursday November 13. Scream is BBCi's http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho first fully animated full cast Doctor Who story. It will be available on the BBCi website.

Richard E. Grant will be making his premiere as the BBC's official Ninth Doctor. Scream also stars Sir Derek Jacobi, Sophie Okonedo, and Diana Quick. Writer - Paul Cornell (Casualty, Doctor Who and other sci-fi stories in multiple mediums). The story runs for 6 episodes, with each episode going online at Lunchtime in the UK. Cosgrove Hall is doing the animation.

BBCi has had success over the past 3 years releasing original audio Doctor Who stories with illustrations in the same manner (Death Comes To Time, Real Time, Shada).
