Last week, WYIN Gary, IN actually aired episode 1 of The Sontaran Experiment, not episode 1 of The Ark In Space as the column had listed. Presumably this station, like WYBE Philadelphia, is trying to air the stories in production order instead of the original broadcast order. Thanks to the WYIN viewer who pointed this out.

On UK Gold's Black & White Friday night, the 2nd Doctor, Jamie, and Zoe visit a peace-loving planet for a vacation. Unfortunately for them, two Dominators visit the planet as well, and they sure aren't looking for a pleasant beach. "Shall we destroy?" Sunday morning (or afternoon if you have a VCR and the timer works properly) the 4th Doctor is summoned back to Gallifrey, where he learns that the President's life is in danger. This is the only TV story where the Doctor does not have a regular companion at any time.

The Who-Files are in their final weeks, as FOXTEL takes a look at Doctor Who historical stories. Over the weekend, the 1st Doctor, Ian, Barbara, and Susan visit the Aztecs. Barbara is mistaken for a god, and the Doctor becomes engaged! The weekday episodes begin with the second half of The Romans, a comedic historical story where the 1st Doctor and Vicki visit Emperor Nero, and Barbara winds up as his slave. Will the Doctor learn to play the liar, er, lyre before he gets to meet the lions. Later that week, the 4th Doctor and Sarah try to reach UNIT again. They get the planet and place right, but they got the time wrong. It's 1911, the year that Earth was destroyed...

Doctor Who goes to 7 days a week beginning with Saturday, April 24th, presumably to burn off their remaining episodes sooner. In the first story, the 1st Doctor goes to Tombstone, AZ in search of a dentist. Unfortunately, he bears a slight resemblance to the dentist, who happens to be the infamous Doc Holliday. And it so happens that a bunch of outlaws are out to kill Doc Holliday. 'So take up the call boys, the time will be soon / When there's blood upon the sawdust of the Last Chance Saloon!' In The War Machines, the 1st Doctor and Dodo return to 1966, where they meet WOTAN, the ultimate computer. Well, now we know where they got the idea for Hal 5000 from.

Very unwise, especially in the final episode of the story. Then, flash forward to Planet of the Daleks. The 3rd Doctor, barely alive after a confrontation with the Master, pursues the Daleks to the planet where they are massing an invasion force.
