This week, with England out of the competition, an average of just 3.51 million tuned in to see the host country play Uruguay. Top for the day was Strictly Come Dancing with 8.91 million watching, while ITV's highest audience was for the Rugby, but not for the match showing opposite The Doctor. Australia v Wales at 4.30pm had 4.75 million watching.Casualty edged just above The Doctor with 4.42 million views pushing Doctor Who into 4th place for the day. Doctor Who is currently 33rd for the week.

Finals (+7 days): Doctor Who was the 8th most watched programme on BBC Television, and second overall on Saturday. Full data is not yet available for ITV+1, but Doctor Who is expected to be around 21st for the week.Top of the week was the final of The Great British Bake Off with 15.05 million watching, the biggest audience for any programme this year.

The BBC's iPlayer performance figures reported that the episode was requested 1.237m times to the end of the month, making it the tenth most requested programme in October - it was beaten by episodes of Doctor Foster, The Great British Bakeoff, Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice (the figure does not include requests via Virgin Media or Sky).
