لايزال كلٌ من كلايد وماريا ولوك تحت تهديد الكائنات الغريبة من السليثين وذلك بسبب مرطب شفاه صوتي تحتفظ به سارة جاين في حقيبتها، بعد ذلك يكشف السيد سميث (جهاز الحاسوب) عن جميع خطط السليثين في استنزاف الأرض من تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والطاقة، وتنقطع الكهرباء في جميع الأماكن، فيعمل السيد سميث على حل المشكلة، فعلى المجموعة الآن أن تتصرف بذكاء كي تمنع السليثين من إطفاء ضوء الشمس.

(Under attack from the monstrous Slitheen child, Maria, Luke and Clyde escape, thanks to some deodorant and Sarah Jane’s sonic lipstick. Back in her attic, Sarah Jane’s super-computer Mr Smith reveals the aliens’ evil plan to drain Earth of its energy. But as a power blackout spreads across the globe, Mr Smith goes out of action. The gang must rely on their wits alone to stop the Slitheen from extinguishing the sun for ever.)
