In tonight's episode of Doctor Who, the Slitheen have all but taken over 10 Downing Street. They have wiped out a room full of political experts and are chasing Rose (Billie Piper) and Harriet Jones (Penelope Wilton), the brave MP for Flydale North through the corridors of Number 10.

Just as the Slitheen are going to destroy Rose and the MP the Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) appears. "One more move and my sonic device will triplicate the vulnerability of this alcohol and we'll all go up," he threatens. "Right, it's question time," the Doctor says. You've got a space ship hidden in the North Sea which transmitted a signal. "You've murdered your way to the top. What for? Invasion?"

As Rose and the Doctor confront their tormentors at Number 10, Rose's mother Jackie (Camille Coduri) and young Mickey Smith (Noel Clarke) are battling another member of the Slitheen family. Is this the scene for mankind's first interplanetary war? Are there missiles of mass destruction? And what is it about Harriet Jones, brave MP for Flydale North that the Doctor is trying to remember?
