UK - Sarah Jane Adventures now have a regular time slot for Series 2.
BBC One Mondays at 4:35PM, CBBC Mondays at 5:15PM. CBBC will air
episodes one week ahead of BBC One, except for the premiere (The Last
Sontaran pt 1).
UK - You thought new Doctor Who in the UK was over till Christmas,
right? Well, BBC7 and Big Finish are out to prove you wrong. Paul McGann
returns as The 8th Doctor and Sheridan Smith returns as Lucy Miller
in eight 50 minute full cast radio episodes - Sundays at 6PM and
Midnight UK Time starting 19 October. Paul McGann played the Doctor
in the 1996 TV Movie and in many Big Finish direct to cd audio
stories since 2001. He is the official 8th Doctor, the link between
Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor in Classic Who - late 1980s) and
Christopher Eccleston (9th Doctor/New Series 1/2005).
This is actually the second set of Paul McGann audios made for BBC7.
An earlier set of 8 Paul McGann/Sheridan Smith episodes ran in late
2006/early 2007. That time the episodes aired on the radio before
getting released on CD. For these new episodes the CD releases came
first, which is why the radio run was delayed a bit. No word on
whether the previous BBC7/Big Finish Doctor Who series is going to
repeat soon.
BELGIUM - La Deux begins airing Series 3 today,
apparently the premiere of this series in Belgium. een was the first
network for Series 1 and 2, with La Deux airing them as repeats then.
NEW ZEALAND - Prime is reportedly going to
air The Stolen Earth and Journey's End as a double feature on Sunday
28 September.
AUSTRALIA - The SFSA has gotten word that Nickelodeon Australia has bought the first 2 series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. They report that more details will be in their newsletter The Wall Of Lies 14. At publication time Nickelodeon's website did not have information.
Torchwood schedule information is included in the Torchwood This Week
column .

if you are in the Central or Mountain Time Zones, SPACE's broadcasts
of Torchwood are going to overlap with your local CBC's broadcast of
Who. Most satelite subscribers can get multiple feeds of the CBC and
presumably digital cable customers can too. If you want to see both
Doctor Who and Torchwood, use the various CBC feeds to your
advantage. The Torchwood finale is 24 October, marking the end of the
schedule conflict.

Illusion TV is a service providing science fiction On Demand
programming to cable providers (no deals with satellite companies
yet). If your digital cable service has Illusion TV, all programming
is offered for free with commercials. See the website to determine if
your provider may offer this service. Based on the paucity of
information on the episodes airing, I guess they want you to get the
service before you know what you will be seeing.

West, Dave AC, Colin, and other Doctor Who fans liked the live Doctor

and can go wildly off in all directions. Chats open 15 minutes before
the scheduled start time.
September 14 episode - Hidden Gems. Shows and movies that don't get a

Sunday 2PM EDT (11AM PDT, 7PM BST) - new episode
Radio Free Skaro
The 3 Canadians get together on Sundays for about an hour or two or
more to discuss the latest in Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Sarah Jane
in a fairly amusing manner. Temporarily doing commentary on classic
Who stories courtesy of their Randomiser.
Current episode - #100 - So, It's Come To This. The three Canadians
do a commentary for Partners In Crime, just a few days before the
episode airs on CBC. An election has been called in Canada. Chris'
solution - move back to London, an idea that I must admit has some
appeal during election season. Warren's solution - ignore the boring
Canadian election and announce who he wants to win the US election.
And yes, the Doctor Who episode gets mentioned from time to time.
Sunday or Monday - #101 - can the Canadians snuff out The Fires Of
Pompeii? How much did the CBC cut from Partners In Crime?
A Podcast Of Impossible Things
Cardiff-based Doctor Who fans get together to discuss the latest
Doctor Who and do a full length commentary on new Doctor Who episodes.
Current episode - The Aztecs episode 1 of 4. The gang does a
commentary on the first episode of this early William Hartnell Doctor
Who story, discussing the episode and how TV has changed since 1964.
A Whovian's Quest
Jonathan Rainer is podcasting his experiences as he watches Doctor
Who. In original broadcast order. From 1963. Without a gap. Can he
pull it off?
Current episode - 10 - The Dalek Invasion Of Earth.
The Big Finish Podcast
Big Finish podcasts at least once a month to discuss their Doctor Who
and other projects (Sapphire and Steel, Stargate (!), Dark Shadows,
Bernice Summerfield, etc).
Current episode - Episode 1 of a new series of UNIT audios, starring
Nicholas Courtney as Alaistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart (possibly
not as retired as assumed). The rest of the episodes have to be paid
for. Next date for regular podcasts unknown.
Cliff And Stephanie's Doctor Who Fan Podcast
Current episode - 13 - Review of Planet Of The Ood (free)
Next episode - 14 - Review of Daleks In Manhattan/Evolution Of The
Daleks (paid subscribers only)
Cliff and Stephanie Ravenscraft review Doctor Who episodes on a
weekly basis. Start of new installments as they review Series 4,
skipping Voyage Of The Damned for now and focusing on the
Doctor/Donna episodes. is a network of podcasts on TV shows, daily life, religion,
and other issues that interest the 3 Ravenscrafts. Doctor Who Fan
Podcast becomes one of the pay programs in the network starting with
episode 12. The existing paying audience ranked Doctor Who dead last
in their interests (annoying the hosts who want to do the show but
are living off the revenue from their podcasts). If you subscribe to
their podcasts in order to hear the new Doctor Who episodes, be sure
to alert them that you are doing this. Half the episodes expected to
be free, half paid.
Tachyon TV
Note to Tachyon guys - the brand new episode on iTunes turned out to
be 1.2, an episode made in Fall 2007. Surreal choice. Thought you'd
like to know - especially if you did not tell iTunes to post it.
MMM Commentaries
