the 13 regular cut down episodes air for the first time in Australia

UK - Doctor Who will be pre-empted, as coverage of Eurovision would
force the BBC to schedule part 1 of a Steven Moffat written 2 parter
earlier in the evening than they want to air it. Doctor Who returns
on 31 May. But tune in to BBC One at 6:45PM BST for a trailer for the
2nd half of Series 4.

Next week - Silence In The Library airs 31 May at 7PM (BBC One), 1
June at 8PM (BBC Three), and 6 June at 9PM (BBC Three). It is up
against the finale of ratings juggernaut "Britain's Got Talent" on
ITV1 - 6:45PM to 8:30PM.

If you are worried about missing the Britain's Got Talent finale, you
have six extra chances to watch the full 3 plus hours of the event
(competition plus multiple results shows).

However, if you do miss Doctor Who on the 31st, you have the regular

iPlayer.

Steven Moffat previously wrote The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, The
Girl In The Fireplace, and Blink, and was a nice fellow at
conventions. Expect to see less of him in public and more of his
influence on the screen, as Steven has been named Russell T Davies'
successor as the head person on Doctor Who effective with Series 5
(the 2010 episodes). RTD led this revival from the initial deal in
2003 to the premiere in 2005 and finishes his time in charge with the
2009 specials. Congratulations to Steven Moffat on getting the gig
running the world's craziest Sci-Fi TV show. And thanks to Russell T
Davies for his years of work (and presumably at least one more year
to come to get the 2009 specials out) reviving Doctor Who. See the

USA - SciFi USA http://www.scifi.com will conclude Series 1 of the Sarah Jane Adventures this Friday May 30 at 8PM EDT with both episodes of The Lost Boy. Canadian/South African Sci-Fi epic Charlie Jade takes the Sarah Jane slot on Friday June 6.

Africa/Middle East - The Showtime Arabia satellite service will begin
airing Series 3 this Friday May 30 (multiple airings each week) on
Showseries 1 and Showseries Extra. They are starting with Smith And
Jones.

Belgium - French station LaDeux http://www.ladeux.be concludes their
run of "new" Doctor Who today at 5PM with Army Of Ghosts/Doomsday. It
is not known when LaDeux will air Series 3 or when the een network
will air new episodes in Flemish.

USA - BBC America http://www.bbcamerica.com will do a 5 hour Memorial
Day weekend marathon from Series 3. The Human Nature/Family Of Blood
two parter at 1PM EDT/10AM PDT, followed by Utopia/The Sound Of
Drums/Last Of The Time Lords at 3PM EDT/Noon PDT. Other than this,
BBC America is airing Series 2 episodes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Series 3 is airing 1 episode per week on SciFi Friday at 5AM EDT.

CANADA - French network Ztele http://www.ztele.com will finish the current Series 2 repeats on a weekly schedule instead of the weekday schedule of recent months. 1 episode late Tuesday at 1AM EDT, repeating late Thursday at 2AM EDT.

AUSTRALIA - UKTV http://www.uktv.com.au is having a Doctor Who weekend for the holidays. Saturday June 7 - Series 2 all day. 9AM to 11PM AEST. All 14 episodes and the 13 Cut Down Confidentials that tie into the regular episodes. Sunday June 8 - the UKTV premiere of Series 3 all day. Again 9AM to 11PM AEST, with the 14 episodes and the Australian TV premiere of the 13 Cut Down Confidentials for regular episodes. Viewer advisory - Last of the Time Lords (8 June 10PM AEST) is listed as 45 minutes, which if true would be the EDITED INTERNATIONAL VERSION. Here's hoping that is a mistake and they got the 51 minute version that aired on ABC 1 last year. All times 2 hours later on UKTV + 2.
