The mysterious Captain John Hart is determined to wreak havoc, and needs to find something hidden on Earth. With Gwen's life in danger, and cluster bombs scattered across the city, whose side is Jack on? CAST: John Barrowman

Press Release:
Captain Jack (John Barrowman) returns, as the Torchwood team reunites to fight a rogue Time Agent.

The mysterious Captain John Hart (James Marsters - Buffy) is determined to wreak havoc, and needs to find something hidden on Earth. But with Gwen’s (Eve Myles) life in danger, and cluster bombs scattered across the city, whose side is Jack on?

Bigger and bolder than before, Russell T Davies’ hit sci-fi series returns for more fun, adventure and excitement with Captain Jack and his alien-fighting team. With fearsome new aliens, compelling new storylines, and amazing guest stars, the second series takes the close-knit Torchwood team through dare-devil action, temptation, heartache… and a life-changing event for one of the team.

Set in Cardiff in Wales, Torchwood’s new investigations into alien activity give the team glimpses of the 51st century. They encounter a rogue Time Agent and alien sleeper cells, save a stranded creature from human exploitation, meet a tragic soldier from World War I and a memory thief who exposes long forgotten secrets among the entire team, and they attend a wedding with an unexpected guest. Captain Jack will have his work cut out as the stakes get higher and his team is stretched further than ever before.

The team is also joined for three episodes by Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones in Doctor Who). Other familiar faces making guest appearances are James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville), Richard Briers (Monarch of the Glen, The Good Life), Alan Dale (Ugly Betty, The OC), Robert Pugh (Prime Suspect, Danger UXB) and Ruth Jones (Nighty Night, Little Britain).
