"The Parting of the Ways", the final episode of this series of Doctor Who screens on Saturday August 13 at 7.30pm on ABC TV and sees Rose (Billie Piper) a captive of The Daleks who tell The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) that he must obey their commands or his companion will be exterminated. When the Daleks detect the Tardis in flight, missiles are launched to the familiar cry of "Exterminate"! The Doctor is at the Tardis controls and Captain Jack (John Barrowman) has the Slitheen extrapolator working with a fully-functional force field. But is this enough?

The Emperor Dalek tells of the Dalek flight from extinction. "We waited here, in the dark space, damaged, but rebuilding. Centuries passed, and we quietly infiltrated the systems of Earth, harvesting the waste of humanity. The prisoners, the refugees, the dispossessed, they all came to us. The bodies were filleted, pulped, sifted. The seed of the Human Race is perverted; only one cell in a billion was fit to be nurtured."

A giant armada of Dalek saucers heads for Satellite Five and as the world is plunged into a bloody war, the Doctor is forced to take drastic action. Is our favourite Time Lord about to meet his fate at the hands of his greatest enemies? And will Rose Tyler lose her friend for ever?
