In the 15th Century, the Mandragora Heliz prepares to create a new Dark Age. Bad news for the fiery ball of death - when you hitch a ride in the Doctor's TARDIS, you wind up bringing the Doctor with you. And there is nothing more dangerous for an evil scheme than letting the Doctor become aware of it. Well, an evil scheme could cheat on its taxes and get audited, but apart from that nothing is more dangerous than letting the Doctor get involved.

Sarah is posessed by a fossilized hand who desires nuclear power. The 4th Doctor races in to prevent a nuclear catastrophe.
