Of course not, you would be Doctor Who, looking for the antidote to a plague that will, unstopped, kill every living thing in the galaxy. And even if you were to find the antidote, you would also find in your path a savagely hostile and degenerate race, and The Daleks. Well, The Doctor is not alone.
